  • Practitioners and organisations should consider each of the eight wellbeing indicators (SHANARRI) in collaboration, with children, young people and their family from African and Black Background 

  • Work collaboratively to promote Edinburgh City Council anti racism programmes.

NABA Engagement with Dundee City Council

NABA is please to report positive engagement with Dundee City Council on promoting Key areas as the first steps;

  • Promoting continuous engagement with the African and Black Community

  • Promotion of The International Day of the African Child

  • Promote Dundee Council’s Anti-Racism and Equality Initiatives for Social Workers and Schools

  • NABA to assist in promoting African and Black, culture, tradition, religions and history through these initiatives. (Including Equity and Diversity training)

  • Promote and increase Black History Month engagement

  • To increase engagement with Dundee Social Work Services to address concerns from African and Black communities.
